B.Sc. (Microbiology + Chemistry + Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
Since 1994, B.Sc. Microbiology is an interesting degree course that nurtures the interest of the students in the subject. The students are made to understand the intricacies of the subject with routine practicals and lavish lab facilities where learning becomes interesting and easy.
Add On Certificates:
Add-on certificate courses (JAVA, Web Designing, PHP) are offered in the college at minimal cost by Technology Experts with Parkhya Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Shree Soft Technologies.
Chemistry lab:
Fully equipped laboratory with skilled practicals which include research base innovation in experiments.
Library:
The library is well established with latest and technical books related to every aspect of Electronics, Maths, Physics and Journals, Newspapers and educational CDs are also available in the library.
The library has separate references; UG issue and PG issue sections. Our library has are over 1850 books related to Biotechnology, Microbiology and Life Sciences with more than 722 titles which amount over Rs. 13,00,000.
Library has a good number of reference books related to Inorganics, organic, physical, pharmaceutical, spectroscopy, computational, environmental, and chemistry along with various research journals.
Laboratory:
- Technical skills are the most important part of learning in science. Department of Biosciences and Chemical sciences have well-equipped Biotechnology, Microbiology, Lifesciences, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratories.
- Important instruments like Orbital shaker, Cooling centrifuge, Sonicator, Bench top fermentor, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Incubators, Hot air ovens, Projection microscopes, Laminar airflow units, Autoclaves, Polarimeter are frequently used in routine practicals.
- Students are thoroughly trained in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Plant Biotechnology, Immunology, Biochemistry, and Analytical techniques.
