Biotechnology
Since 2006, Biotechnology is an exquisite amalgamation of various aspects of Science like Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Nanotechnology, Plant Tissue culture, Animal Tissue culture etc. The M.Sc. Biotechnology program nurtures the student to develop their scientific thinking ability and trains them technologically for industrial market. The subject has a great scope for research and the students are routinely pushed forward for the same. The research projects done by the students, work as a stepping stone for them to enter various multinational companies and renowned research institutes like CIMAP, TIFR. Our old students are placed in various sectors like academics, Research and Pharmaceutical industries.
